Soviet War Memorial in Vienna, July 1955
The memorial was constructed by the Soviets on the Schwarzenbergerplatz in Vienna.
It consists of a semi-circular colonnade. In the middle, at the axis of the semi-circle,
there rises a high thin column, surmounted with the symbolic heroic figure of the
Soviet soldier of World War II..
