11th Armd Div Association A wonderful homepage of the 11th AD Association - contains information on the 11th Armored Division, its role in WWII (including intial occupation period in Austria), and the continued contributions by Association members.
42nd Inf Div Association A site featuring the 42nd "Rainbow" Division. The 42nd participated in the Occupation of Austria after VE Day until June 1946.
65th Inf Div Association A great site featuring the 65th "Halbert" Division. The 65th participated in the Occupation of Austria in northwestern Austria after VE Day until the end of August 1945.
Clam Gallas Service Club, Vienna Jack Edmonds has created a very nice page on the Clam Gallas Service Club that Special Services operated in Vienna.
Tulln Air Base, 1945-55 Jack Edmonds has created a great web site dedicated to the Air Force personnel and units assigned to Tulln AB in the Russian Zone between 1945 - 1955.

Allied Plans to Supply Vienna By Air, 1948 A very interesting article written by Erwin A. Schmidl, an expert on contemporary history in the Austrian Ministry of Defense. In it he describes the Allied plans to undertake an airlift operation similar to the Berlin Airlift, if the Soviets had blockaded Vienna.
3rd Sqdn, 1st Aviation Regt, Langenlebarn (Austrian Air Force) This is the website for one of the Austrian aviation units currently stationed at Langenlebarn, formerly known as Tulln AB. Of special interest is the 'Bilder aus vergangener Zeit' (images from the past) section of the photo gallery (Fotoalbum). Some interesting images of the US Air Force days at Tulln.

US Constabulary

Hosted by the US Constabulary Association; covers the 1946-1952 Occupation period in Germany. (There is also some information on the Constabulary in Austria.)

US Army in Germany, 1945-1989 This site is being reorganized and will provide some historical background on the formation and operation of the U.S. Forces in Germany (focus is on Army units and kasernes) from the Occupation Period to the end of the Cold War in Europe. It includes the pages previously posted for the Constabulary School in Sonthofen, Germany. Lots of pictures and maps!
62nd Military Police Company (Highway Patrol) A great site presenting the history and mission of US Army's Highway Patrol in Germany in the late 1940s through the 1950s. Also mentions MP units involved with a similar mission in Austria.
ASA Alpiners Ralph Thadeus hosts a very interesting web site that fosters comradeship among the veterans of the Army Security Agency (signal intelligence and communications security) who served in southern Germany and the US Zone of Austria during the Cold War. The Association holds reunions about every 18 months and has a very large contingent of Wels ASAers who served with Field Station 8618 AAU (HQ ASA Austria) and the operational unit, Det. K, FS 8608 AAU, stationed in Wels, Austria.
American Barracks and Kasernes in Post-War Germany Hosted by the 225th AAA Searchlight Bn "Skylighters" web site; serves as a guide to German military facilities occupied by American forces after 1945. (The 225th AAA Searchlight Bn home page can be found at http://www.skylighters.org/ - A truly great site!)
TRUST (Trieste, Italy)  
MilHist.net Patrick Skelly hosts an interesting web site that highlights the veterans of the MTO and early post-war years in Italy. Includes historical information on the 34th and 88th Infantry Divs and TRUST.
